Missoula seems to always have something wonderful going on…especially downtown, The Heart of Missoula. A great example of this is First Friday. On the first Friday of each month businesses open their doors to local artists and patrons, giving them a chance to meet, sell art, and bring awareness to the arts. Usually these are social events with refreshments and light appetizers set out for guests at each stop and you may even catch a live music performance, poetry reading, lecture series and street performers along the way. Although the majority of events take place downtown, other businesses outside of downtown such as Draught Works Brewery, the Clay Studio of Missoula, and Montana Art & Framing have joined the fun, too. Often times your night will begin with First Friday and continue into a fun night with friends by going to dinner, grabbing drinks, or attending some live music.
This Friday will not disappoint as there is a great lineup of artists and events that you will not want to miss. Take a look, plan your night and have fun!
